A recent article from Skift.com mentioned that Carnival Cruise Line could be tinkering around with their VIFP loyalty program. Richard Simms, writer at Cruise Radio and Tommy from the Always Be Booked Podcast weigh in on the possible change and what could be revised from the current program.

This interview proves that not everyone books a cruise based on the itinerary. James and his wife just returned from a Western Caribbean cruise on Royal Caribbean Liberty of the Seas, and barely got off the ship! He gives us a comprehensive review of the ship, dining, entertainment on the ship, and the ports of call on this Caribbean cruise.

Sherry Kennedy has cruise news:

  • Carnival going to easy pay a payment option - how does this different from spreading your payments out?
  • The world's largest cruise ship completes construction milestone.
  • Pacific Princess is out of dry dock.
  • NCL changes Free at Sea promo for Haven guests.
  • Queen Victoria is out of dry dock. What refurbishments did she get?

Did you know that maritime law requires a cruise ship to go into dry dock every five years? Neither did I. Disney Cruise Line's Disney Fantasy just got out of a two-week dry dock where she underwent massive renovations and was reimagined. Nancy Schretter was one of the first passengers onboard when the ship got back to Port Canaveral and goes into detail about the dry dock enhancements and how the ship is today. Also, we hear about Castaway Cay.

Sherry has cruise news on:
  • Carnival Cruise Line created the largest Guy Fieri hamburger at sea
  • Carnival is sailing to Bermuda from another Florida port in 2017
  • Holland America's upcoming ship is open for sailings
  • Princess Cruises sets their 2018-2019 Mexico, America, and Alaska itineraries up
  • The Love Boat cast gets a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame
